Optometrics of Chatsworth has been the community eye care center since 1989. Our experienced optometrists, Dr. Kathy Chriqui and Dr. Garineh Nersisyan provide thorough eye examinations for adults and children, contact lens fittings, lasik evaluations, diagnosing and treatment of ocular disease using state of the art equipment.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to assist you and your loved ones in scheduling appointments, answering insurance questions, contact lens orders, and frame selection.

Dr. Kathy Chriqui graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Prior to settling down in the San Fernando Valley, Dr Chriqui had a primary care practice in Beverly Hills for 10 years. Dr Chriqui served as staff doctor at the Southern California College of Optometry, and has been on staff at Cedar Sinai Medical Center for over 15 years. Dr. Chriqui lists among her affiliations the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society, and the Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Nersisyan is a 2010 graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Physics from California State University, Northridge in 2006. Her optometric experience includes externships at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Arizona and Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in West Los Angeles. Understanding the importance and role of ethics in optometry, she was the recipient of the Ethics Endowed Scholarship in 2009. Currently she practices full-scope optometry in southern California. In addition to primary care, pediatrics, and contact lenses, she is glaucoma certified and licensed to treat ocular diseases. Dr. Nersisyan is a current member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association. She is active in community service and has volunteered as an optometrist for the Special Olympics and participated in several vision screenings. She is also working on becoming a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
